Designed and built by local architect Bernard Planterose, the Bird Hide is located adjacent to the car park on the Beach Road overlooking the extensive tidal area of Scourie Bay which attracts wading and diving birds throughout the year.  The hide contains graphics describing the local bird life as well as other exhibits of interest and has viewing benches for up to six people at any one time.
